MEDICAL STANDARDS 

Candidates provisionally selected by BPCL will have to undergo a Pre Employment Medical Examination before joining. The health of candidates will be assessed by Company’s Authorized Medical Officers/ nominated hospitals and the appointment will be subject to meeting the medical standards prescribed by the Company.

  • Myopia & Hypermetropia, if any should be within permissible limits of (-) 6.00 & (+) 4.00.
  • Colour blindness or squint, partial or full, is not acceptable in any case.
  • Any major medical ailment will debar a candidate from being eligible for the job.

SELECTION PROCESS

  • Interested and Eligible candidates must undergo GATE – 2015 Examination. Short-listing of candidates is purely done on basis of GATE – 2015 Score.
  • After the short-listing is done candidates are called for Group discussions and Personal Interview. Besides the above mode of short listings, for preliminary short listing, Psychometric tests and / or any other selection tools/tests may be considered, at the sole discretion of management.
  • The Final Selection is Pre-Employment Medical Fitness examination.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Register yourself online for the GATE – 2015 Examination which starts from September 1st 2014 to October 1st 2014. Download the GATE – 2015 Admit card and receipt of the registration number.
  • After the entire GATE application is over, head to BPCL website and apply online for the post of Management Trainee. The link would be available from 17th December 2014 on BPCL Website.
  • Upon Completion of online application ( after 17th December) the system will generate a unique application ID along with the completed application form. Candidate should take a print out of completed application, affix his/her recent passport size photograph, sign at the space provided. The same will have to be submitted, in case short-listed for further selection process. The passport size photograph affixed by the candidate should be the same submitted along with GATE-2015 application form and admit card. If the candidate is called for further selection process, his/ her identity would be verified with GATE-2015 admit card and GATE-2015 official score card. 30th January 2015 is the last date for submitting the Online application for BPCL.
